Monika Alonso, M. Ed.

Monika was born and raised in San Diego. Prior to LFA, she worked as a Special Education Teacher for three years. She currently teaches English as a Second Language to immigrant and refugee women, and she has worked as an ABA Behavior Technician in the past. She holds a Master’s degree and teaching credential in Mild/Moderate Special Education. She enjoys helping students feel confident in their abilities and creating an individualized learning experience. She loves traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
